FAQS

How much does it cost?
Thanks to the support of our sponsors, Trailfest is a free event, but donations for the support of trails will be accepted on site and online.

Can I bring a cooler?
We hope that you enjoy the onsite food and beverage, therefore no outside food or drinks are permitted.

Can I bring chairs?
The music portion of the event is located on a grass area. Feel free to bring blankets and chairs as you wish, but please respect the space and the people around you.

Can I go outside of the event area once I am in?
We purposely hold this event in Downtown Woodstock so that you can enjoy our community. Please go see all that is happening here! Check out the smart phone app located under Visit Woodstock in the App Store or Google Play Store.


WHERE WILL TRAILFEST BE?

Trailfest 2016 will once again be held on Market Street and the Elm Street Arts Village Event Green in Downtown Woodstock. The space is located one block west of Main Street and one block south of Towne Lake Parkway. Please click on the map below to see the location or get driving directions. 5k

The PLAE HARD  5k presented by Northside Hospital-Cherokee will kick off the festivities bright and early. The 5k launches at 8 AM from Market Street and is an out and back race on the Noonday Creek trail!

LIVE MUSIC, OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY

We always like to throw a party and this year is no exception! Live music will be on the Resurgens Orthopaedics Stage with the following lineup (*times subject to change):

Food vendors and beer will be available while you enjoy the music. 

Try your skills on the mountain bike trail! We have built a 1/8 mile test track in the event area. 

If biking isn't your thing, there will be other activities as well including a rock climbing wall.


 

a little history here:

Trailfest began in March 2010 under its former name 'Streetfest'. It started as an all day music festival on East Main Street in Downtown Woodstock. In fact, it was the very first event in Woodstock that allowed participants to have open containers within the event area. Due to the success of the first event (and the fact that it was sunny and 70 in March), the festival quickly grew. After spending three years in the street, we rebranded the event to Trailfest to coincide with our mission and moved to the Park at City Center. In 2014, we found a permanent home with our friends at the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village. Here is a look back at the event's history:
